Domino is a popular tile game in which players try to form lines of dominoes that add up to some target number or value. These oblong pieces are marked with a set of dots ranging from 0 to 6. The word domino may also refer to any of the many variants of the game that use these small tiles, which can be arranged edge-to-edge in rows or columns.

A Domino set is often made of natural materials such as bone, silver lip ocean pearl oyster shell (mother-of-pearl), ivory, or a dark hardwood such as ebony. More recently, a variety of other materials have been used to make domino sets, including marble and granite; soapstone; metals such as brass or pewter; and even frosted glass or crystal.

Whether you’re designing a domino track that will have a simple straight line or something more elaborate, such as a grid that forms pictures when the dominoes fall or a 3D structure like a tower or pyramid, it’s important to plan out your layout before starting. If you do, it’ll help ensure that your track is built correctly so that the dominoes will fall in the correct order to create the desired effect.

In business, Domino’s founder Tom Brandon once said that the secret to the company’s success was a simple one: “Listen to Your Customers.” He was right. The company was able to turn its fortunes around by paying attention to the complaints of customers and responding to them quickly. It’s a lesson that many businesses can learn from.

While her mercenary work led to an uneasy alliance with Cable, Domino ultimately returned to the world of mutants. She helped found the Six Pack mercenary group, working with G. W. Bridge to prevent Malcolm Colcord’s clandestine Weapon X program from exposing mutants to government-sponsored anti-mutant research. She later joined forces with Cable in investigating his erratic powers at his new Swiss safe house and then against the ancient, mutant-devouring Skornn entity. Domino was later recruited by the deceptive S.H.I.E.L.D. incarnation of the Six Pack to investigate Cable’s new ability to affect change on a global scale after his lobotomy.

After an encounter with Blockade, whose mind Domino vengefully wiped, and a volatile run-in with her brother Lazarus in Hell’s Kitchen, Dom rejoined X-Force, where she became its de facto leader after Cable was forced to prioritize his own needs over those of the team. Following a clash with the cyborg Reavers, Domino was captured by a member of the new Zero Tolerance force, Ekatarina Gryaznova, who implanted her with a neural inhibitor to limit her abilities, but she used her abilities to free herself and then helped defeat the swarms of cyborgs at the base in Neverland. Domino left X-Force again, but soon rejoined the mercenary group, assisting the team in its fight against the cyborg Reavers and their corrupt director. This led to a final confrontation with Gryaznova, during which her reflexes and luck ability were impeded by the neural inhibitor.
